The ITIs affiliated vide order dated 22.12.2017 on wards are being granted affiliation for the session Aug 2018. Pharmacy Council of India Announcment

The Central Council of the PCI has decided as under – 1. From the academic year 2019-2020, applications for both new and already approved institutions for approval of various pharmacy courses under the Pharmacy Act, 1948 including inspection fee and affiliation fee will be accepted online only. No hard copy of Standard Inspection Form (SIF) or fee in the form of Demand Draft will be accepted. 2. The schedule for submission of application and fee will be announced by the PCI in due course of time on the Council’s website. 3. In view of above, the institutions are requested to visit the Council’s website on daily basis for further updates. All prospective applicants and the Principals of Pharmacy Institutions conducting D.Pharm,, B.Pharm., Pharm D./PB, M.Pharm., B.Pharm. (Practice) courses. This Notification relates to submission of application/SIF for D.Pharm,, B.Pharm., Pharm D./PB, M.Pharm., B.Pharm. (Practice) courses for the admissions for the year 2019-2020 for- a) Starting of New courses b) Extension of Approval c) Increased intake Sub: Registration of Institutions with PCI for online submission of application for 2019-20 admissions. Sir/Madam, The PCI is in the process of digitalising its approval process for admissions for the year 2019- 2020. For this, the new institutions and already approved institutions will have to register with the PCI portal. Shortly a link on PCI website www.pci.nic.in will be provided for the same. As soon as the link is available on PCI website, the institution will have to register and get its ID and password to enable itself to submit its application for approval in Council’s prescribed Standard Inspection Form (SIF) Once the registration process is over, PCI will notify the date for submission of SIF along with applicable fee for – a) starting of new course/new institution. b) extension of approval c) increase in intake The applicable fee (inspection fee/affiliation fee) will be received by the PCI only through online payment portal. Hence institutions are requested to equip themselves for making online payments accordingly. The institutions are requested to save its registration ID and password along with reference of payment made which may be required at all times for processing of their application. Public Notice for Approval Process 2019-20

AICTE invites applications for approval from all the existing and new Technical Institutions for conducting Technical Programmes/ Courses including courses of Management for the academic session 2019-20 as per the following: 1. New Technical Institutions Applications for “Setting up New Technical Institutions Offering Technical Programmes in Engineering and Technology/ Pharmacy/ Architecture/ Planning/ Applied Arts and Crafts/ Design/ Hotel Management and Catering Technology/ MCA/ Management at Diploma/ Post Diploma Certificate/ Under Graduate Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma/ Post Graduate Degree Levels affiliated to University/ Board or Standalone Institutions”. The Institutions approved by the Council of Architecture/ Pharmacy Council of India in the previous Academic Years/ Existing Institutions offering Courses in Applied Arts and Crafts/ Vocational (Technical) Programmes/ Non-Technical Institutions conducting MCA/ MBA, without the approval of AICTE and seeking approval for the first time from AICTE, shall submit an application as a new Technical Institution. Institutions Deemed to be Universities seeking approval for the first time from AICTE (in compliance to the order dated 03.11.2017 passed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court Order CA No. 17869-17870 /2017) shall submit an application as a new Technical Institution. State and Central Universities/ Constituent Colleges/ Private Universities, if interested in seeking approval from AICTE for the first time may submit an application as a new Technical Institution. 2. Existing Technical Institutions Applications from Existing Technical Institutions offering Technical Programmes in Engineering and Technology/ Pharmacy/ Architecture/ Planning/ Applied Arts and Crafts/ Design/ Hotel Management and Catering Technology/ MCA/ Management at Diploma/ Post Diploma Certificate/ Under Graduate Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma/ Post Graduate Degree Levels affiliated to University/ Board or Standalone Institutions for • Change of Site/ Location • Conversion of Women’s Institution into Co-ed Institution and vice-versa • Conversion of Diploma Level into Degree Level and vice-versa • To Start new Programme(s)/ Level(s) in the existing Institutions • Extension of Approval to the existing Institutions/ Continuation of approval after a break in the preceding Academic Year/ Restoration of Intake all approvals as above shall begin on 14th January, 2019 and end on 3rd February, 2019. The last date for submission of online application with penalty (as per the provisions of APH 2019-20) for Extension of Approval based on selfdisclosure for existing Institutions is permitted up to 8th February, 2019. It may be noted that there shall be no further extension of date.

Auxiliary Nurse and Midwives School.(ANM)

GUIDELINES AND MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO ESTABLISH NEW AUXILIARY NURSE AND MIDWIVES SCHOOL OF NURSING

1. The following Establishments / Organizations are eligible to Establish / Open an Auxiliary Nurse and Midwives School of Nursing (ANM School)

a) Central Government/State Government/Local body;

b) Registered Private or Public Trust;

c) Organisations Registered under Societies Registration Act including Missionary Organisations;

d) Companies incorporated under section 8 of Company’s Act;

2. The eligible Organizations / Establishments should obtain Essentiality Certificate / No objection Certificate from the concerned State Government where the ANM School of Nursing is sought to be established. The particulars of the name of the School / Nursing Institution along with the name of the Trust /Society [as mentioned in Trust Deed or Memorandum of Association] as also full address shall be mentioned in No Objection Certificate/Essentiality Certificate.

3. After receipt of the Essentiality Certificate/ No objection Certificate, the eligible institution shall get recognition from the concerned State Nursing Council for the ANM programme for the particular Academic Year, which is a mandatory requirement.

4. The Indian Nursing Council shall after receipt of the above documents / proposal would then conduct Statutory Inspection of the recognized training nursing institution under Section 13 of Indian Nursing Council Act 1947 in order to assess the suitability with regard to availability of Teaching faculty, Clinical and Infrastructural facilities in conformity with Regulations framed under the provisions of Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947.

General Nursing and Midwifery School.

GUIDELINES AND MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO ESTABLISH GNM SCHOOL OF NURSING

1. The following Establishments / Organizations are eligible to Establish / Open a General Nursing and Midwifery School of Nursing (GNM School).

a) Central Government/State Government/Local body;

b) Registered Private or Public Trust;

c) Organisations Registered under Societies Registration Act including Missionary Organisations;

d) Companies incorporated under section 8 of Company’s Act;

2. The eligible Organizations / Establishments should have their own 100 bedded Parent Hospital.

Provided that in respect of Tribal and Hilly Area the requirement of own Parent Hospital is exempted.

3. The eligible Organizations / Establishments should obtain Essentiality Certificate / No objection Certificate from the concerned State Government where the GNM School of Nursing is sought to be established. The particulars of the name of the School / Nursing Institution along with the name of the Trust /Society [as mentioned in Trust Deed or Memorandum of Association] as also full address shall be mentioned in No Objection Certificate/Essentiality Certificate.

4. After receipt of the Essentiality Certificate/ No objection Certificate, the eligible institution shall get recognition from the concerned State Nursing Council for the GNM programme for the particular Academic Year, which is a mandatory requirement.
